Race card? Ask Obama... he brought it up...
Arlene Peck
I called an Israeli friend of mine who has been expounding on the glories of Obama since the first of the exposés of the Presidential candidate hit the evening news. I said, "See! I told you so! The man is dangerous and not to be trusted." Her answer was, "I still think him a wonderful man. I know that you're from Atlanta and people from the South feel differently about black people." I shouted back, "It's not a black thing! It’s a character thing! It’s about standards! Do you really want a President of the United States who has conversations three times a week with Rev. Al Sharpton and who has to go on FOX News to defend himself?"
It’s a Muslim thing! Watch! Ties to Obama’s Muslim history will be revealed next. Do you think the name of the man might give you a clue? Why wouldn't he be 'against' the war from the very beginning? The man is a Muslim or affiliates with Muslims. Why would he want to fight his brothers? If someone would ask me to go to war with Israel, I'd say no, also.
Obama gave a speech to deplore the words of his trusted hatemongering preacher. Reverend Wright has been his mentor and spiritual advisor for the past twenty years. Yet, in that speech, he didn't disclaim the messenger. He even had the audacity to tell us that surely we've heard our Ministers or Rabbis speak from the pulpit words that might have offended us.
I don’t know about you, but if I had heard any of that vile garbage spewing from my Rabbi, I would have left the synagogue immediately...and not gone back. It's not just sitting quietly (for twenty years!!?) and not approving but actually doing something about it that matters. Obviously, his white mother and "typical white grandmother" never told him that you are not only known by the company you keep but also that "he who lies down with dogs, gets up with fleas” and “birds of a feather flock together."
Last year, I was sitting at Michael Richards’ (from Seinfeld) table at the Laugh Factory when he had his melt-down. Richards went into a tirade against some members of the audience whom he felt were mistreating him. We sat there for about two minutes waiting for something funny to happen. Then, it dawned on me that Richards was off his meds or whatever. I realized immediately that I didn’t want to sit there and listen to Richards ‘potty mouth’ so I got up and walked out. End of story.
I don’t buy it when Obama, who I still believe to be the Manchurian Candidate-in-waiting pulls out the 'race card' by blaming the 'liberal media' for picking 'snippets' of his preachers recent sermons. If anyone has ever gotten a free ride from the media, it has been Obama. I think, for the past year, the mainstream news media has been falling over itself in an effort to put this man in the White House.
I wonder how many of you are aware that Obama also has the distinction of being the most liberal Senator in the entire Senate. He even surpassed Ted Kennedy, which I didn't think was possible. I also wonder if Rev. Wright's philosophy is the reason that his wife Michelle is on record with statements about how angry she is with America. Is that what they talk about in front of their young children who were baptized by Rev. Wright? Or, do they just let them draw their own conclusions after hearing their minister's lunatic sermons about "blue-eyed devils?"
I can imagine the calls for resignation had it been discovered that the Clintons were raising their daughter Chelsea in a white supremacy compound, expounding on the black man and what should be done about them. Yet, is Rev. Wrights’ church any different with the indoctrination that the Obama's have been raising their children with? He says that they were baptized by him. Interesting how he never mentions when or who baptized him.
However, knowing that his personal history is one of being a Muslim, I doubt if anyone baptized him since once you are a Muslim you stay a Muslim… under penalty of death. It is common knowledge that his father and step father were Muslims. That being the case, Islam considers Obama a Muslim. Once a Muslim, always a Muslim. If you convert, you are an apostate and this Islam punishes by death. I put it to you that Obama never converted to Christianity. Such a conversion would have been marked by baptism. Had he been baptized, he would have made mention of it when referring to the baptism of his children.
Some of the press and even a few of my friends, who at this point I think are idiots, are still touting his speech as the closest thing to the Gettysburg Address. But, frankly folks, I think it is a spin job about a man who took no responsibility for the anti-American, anti-Israel and anti-Semitic people whom he has told us he was "greatly inspired and guided by over the past twenty years." Even if I were to give him the benefit of the doubt, (which I don't) I wouldn't want a man in power as President who can be that oblivious and can so casually glaze over what is happening right in front of him.
I personally think that, although the speech was eloquent and spoken with his usual charisma, was self-serving in that in order to glaze over the ‘anger’ over the Reverend; he also glazed over the hate sermons as an outpouring of racial grievances. Better than disavowing the garbage, he should have left the church the first time he heard it twenty years ago.
Had anyone else besides Obama been given a pass by the media, or any of the others who have drunk the cool-aide, this past year done anything close to what we have observed from Barack Hussein Obama and his hatemongering friends, there would be an outcry for him to drop out of the race for President of the United States and even out of the Senate.
He speaks of change…. What change? His change is obviously not going to be one of good race relations. He alone by his speech made him the "black candidate." I hope that he never gets the chance, as I believe, that what I suspected about him before now has been verified, we're facing enough problems without our elected officials being sworn into office on the Quran, as has happened before. Innocent… no… I don’t buy it.

The news, recently, has been filled with revelations about Barack Hussein Obama, otherwise known as the man who would be President. Of course, I have been calling him the Manchurian Candidate-in-waiting for months. It’s nice that the national news media has started paying attention to the very dubious and sinister background of this man. Heaven knows how this will play out. People have become so dumbed down.
