Michael Kroger’s hatchet men betray Liberal Party member

Victorian Liberal Party members sadly watched another route at the polls. That’s history but not, however, the reason for the loss or the reason why Liberal Party members are furious. Even as I write, they are witnessing another act of treachery by Kroger’s thugs: their recent knifing of Prodos Marinakis who was the Richmond Branch’s favoured candidate. They set up a procedure to prosecute Prodos Marinakis for the hideous crime of actually holding classical liberal convictions. This article is not about the election, nor even Prodos. Marinakis himself, but treachery.
It is about the treachery of a few who, to the anger of Liberal Party members, have gained control of the Victorian state Liberal Party. These people have used intimidation, strong arm tactics and even slander to silence anyone who has had the courage to challenge them.
This tiny clique of Liberal Party Wreckers ruthlessly stifle and quash the dissemination of ideas that are fundamental to the very existence of the Liberal Party. They hold party members and the principles of the Liberal Party in utter contempt. They regards the Victorian Liberal Party as a vassal estate and its members as mere serfs whose duty is to provide funds and free labour at election time.
This shabby clique should do the decent thing and join the party whose interests they truly mirror — the Bracks Junta. These political Brahmins don’t give a stuff about party members or even the welfare of the state. They don’t give a stuff about the hardships the Bracks Junta is imposing on Victorians. They don’t give a damn that the Bracks Junta is wrecking the state.
In fact they welcome it. It was Kroger who said that Victorians would come crawling back to the Liberals once the ALP stuffed up the state’s economy. Does that sound like a man who is interested in the welfare of Victorians? Are these the sentiments of a man who believes that ideas matter? Of course not, they are the words of a spoiled brat.
They are happy for the Bracks Junta to supply them with private pleasure parks by locking up land obtained by over- throwing property rights so the lucky few can watch their nice houses and mansions sky-rocket in price while thousands of Australians find themselves driven out of the housing market.
They are the culprits responsible for the disgusting situation where the party not only failed to oppose Bracks’ Blasphemy Law it actually supported it in principle. So much for the right free speech. These Brahmins seem to believe that Bracks’ draconian police state measures will never be used against them.
Well, Roman Patrician families liked the tyranny of the Empire right up to the day Emperors ordered their murders and, more amusingly, ordered them to commit suicide.
Julian Sheezel is trying to con both party members and Victorians by promoting the notion that the Toorak Set genuinely cares for party members and Victorians. They don’t. In fact they despise them. The only thing they care about is their own interests which they try to further by supporting statist policies. Consequently they regard principled Liberal Party members as a dangerous threat.
What Kroger’s treacherous thugs did to Prodos Marinakis was only to be expected given their ruthless ambitions and lack of principles. This is why Michael Kroger’s craven shoe-shine boy Julian Sheezel is State Director of the Victorian Liberal Party. He does what he’s told when he’s told. He is a complete economic ignoramus that has the nerve to lecture party members on economics. He’s a man who sees nothing wrong with the thuggery of the Krogerites and their obvious contempt for Party members. (Just out of curiosity, Sheezel, was it you or was it Tony Barry who smeared Prodos Marinakis as a racist?)
These political Brahmin don’t have a clue as to why Victorian Liberal Party members are livid with anger. They cannot understand why members should be angry that a tiny bunch of self-aggrandising hacks have seized control the Party. Sheezel and Barry are trying to con party members into believing that this bunch, whose boots they lick, really care about them and the state.
The Kroger mob believe Victorians will return to the liberals once they have had enough of Bracks’ incompetence. This, believe it or not, is Kroger’s strategy for victory. How in heavens name did this idiot ever rise in the party.
The treatment of Prodos Mariarkus by Kroger’s henchmen is a shocking example of what Kroger, Sheezel and Barry are really like. It is an appalling act of treachery that exposes these men as being bereft of honour and integrity. If they think the serfs are going to take this lying down then they are more stupid then even I thought them to be.
The seat of Richmond has been held by the ALP since 1908. It requires a swing of 27% for a Liberal candidate to win it. Prodos Marinakis , who is a decent and well regarded resident of Richmond and who stands firmly on classical liberal principles, applied for the candidacy. This is a man who is committed to working for the branch and the Liberal Party and advancing the interests of the voters of Richmond.
He was the only member to apply and thus he was accepted. Branch members are very satisfied with him, and for good reasons. He is prepared to do what is humanly possible to eliminate the ALP’s 27% margin. He is prepared to face the voters of Richmond and put a solid case to them as to why they should vote Liberal. He’s a gutsy and honest man, the sort of candidate one would assume the Liberal Party would be proud to endorse. Not according to Kroger, Sheezel and Barry. (By the way, Sheezel the grapevine has it that you gave orders that Prodos Marinakis was never to be allowed to speak with you. Is that true?)
Kroger and his thugs were never interested in the Richmond Branch because of the swing needed to win it. They only took an interest when the Branch accepted as their candidate someone who stands for Liberal Party principles. This is not the first time Kroger has thrown his weight around. The ex Mrs Helen Kroger tried to bully the Mt. Waverley Branch in to stabbing their candidate in the back because she didn't like him.
The Mt. Waverley members used colourful language to tell Helen Kroger what she could do. She’s probably still, amidst her sulking, scheming on how she can exact revenge against those rebellious serfs.
In the case of Prodos Marinakis the Krogerite parasites seem to believe they can get away with assassinating his character. They seem to believe no one would notice, and no-one would care; they thought that members would do as they were told.
It is clear that Kroger and his stooges are not honourable men and women. Like their Brahmin backers, the Krogerites have no clue at all about the power of the internet, which is why I’m able to get this story published.
The Victorian Liberal Party does not deserve Kroger or his minions. Members have run out of patience. They are angry, and they are furious that the wreckers have crippled the party and have failed to bring the Bracks’ Junta to book. This is what makes the latest act of treachery all the more shocking.
The Kroger crowd appear to believe that it is acceptable to smear fine Liberal candidates and attack their character. The Krogerites had the Richmond decision over-turned as irregular, demanding a new vote be taken. Next, they smeared Prodos Marinakis and set up a star chamber in order to make out that Prodos Marinakis is a reprehensible character who is unfit to hold any office in the Liberal Party. And now the sleazy Tony Barry has admitted that they are prepared to advertise for a candidate for as long as it takes to get one rather than accept Prodos Marinakis as the Richmond candidate.
At least their thuggery has had the salutary effect of revealing their vile machinations and total lack of morals. I doubt if anyone in the Richmond branch will ever forget their rotten conduct. In the meantime, party members should start asking how it is that Michael Kroger, who holds no executive office in the Liberal Party, has managed to gain control of it.
Allow me to finish with a warning for Mr Tony Barry. Exhibition Street leaks like a sieve, so next time you want to scream obscenities at someone — use a private phone.
