Like all lefty journalists, Marian Wilkinson just cannot stop bending the news to fit her political prejudices. In Bush counts cost as Iraq polarises US (Sydney Morning Herald 23/10) she wrote sympathetically about an outfit called Bring Them Home that had held an anti-Bush demonstration next to the Vietnam memorial.

Wilkinson claimed that these families had "banded together" to form this anti-war organization. Well, that just ain't so, is it, little Miss Marian?

Once again, let us sadly examine those facts that Marian Honest omitted.

ANSWER (Act Now to Stop War and End Racism) is an International Action Center spin-off in which the fanatically anti-American Ramsey Clark is closely involved.

Clark is a particularly nasty piece of work who served as a legal counsel for Saddam's vicious regime. He also defended PLO leaders against a suit brought by the family of Leon Klinghoffer, the elderly tourist who was murdered by Palestinian terrorists and whose body was thrown overboard from the hijacked Achille Lauro cruise-ship in 1986.

The IAC turn is controlled by the anti-Semitic Marxist-Leninist WWP (Workers World Party). In addition, the WWP runs the KTC (Korea Truth Commission), a front organisation for Kim Jong-il.

The charming WWP supported the 1956 Soviet suppression of the Hungarian revolution, the 1968 invasion of Czechoslovakia, the 1979 invasion of Afghanistan and Beijing's, massacre of students in Tiananmen Square.

Since the collapse of communism, this group of fanatical Marxist-Leninists have largely devoted themselves to defending North Korea and Saddam's regime. This unconditional support proved quite profitable, allowing WWP leaders, who have no apparent source of income, to frequently fly to Pyongyang. (They used to fly to Baghdad before Saddam got his comeuppance).

The totalitarian slime behind these organizations sent out their party hacks to try and exploit the fears and anxieties of military families, particularly those who lost loved ones in Iraq.

Sad to say, these political carrion managed to successfully deceive a small number of families into joining their corrupt organisation.

So why did Marian Wilson withhold these facts from her readers? Why did she refuse to report that speakers heaped praise on the sadistic Fidel Castro? Why did she write that this pro-Saddam communist inspired demonstration signaled that "the mood here on Iraq is becoming increasingly anxious"? Or are these stupid questions?

One thing is patently clear, Wilkinson is a shameless political bigot and a disgrace to journalism
